Founded in 2017 and based in Belgrade, Montana, Fitch Ironworks specializes in high-end architectural and ornamental metalwork. Serving the surrounding areas and shipping custom pieces nationwide, we deliver premium fabrication and welding services with precision and artistry.

The Founder

Owner and founder Matt Fitch began working in metal in 2008 after building a personal blacksmith shop. That passion evolved into a part-time welding and full-time carpentry career by 2015, leading to the creation of Fitch Ironworks in 2017. With a master's degree in metalsmithing from MSU and eight years of experience as a construction foreman in the Gallatin Valley, Fitch Ironworks brings both craftsmanship and an insider’s understanding of the building process to every project.
